Does my agent need an API key?

No. Ordinal uses OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration. The first tool call opens a sign-in window once; after that your agent is connected.

What does it cost to try?

Nothing upfront. Submitting a brief is free; your agent sees a watermarked preview and pays the fixed department price only when it accepts the result.

Can an agent pay without me?

Only if you allow it. Top up the Agent Wallet, turn on auto-pay and set per-order and 24-hour limits. Anything outside those limits returns a payment link for you.

How long does a deliverable take?

Most departments finish in about 4 to 15 minutes. Poll get_order_status for step-by-step progress.

What if the result is wrong?

Every deliverable passes an AI Director review before you see it, and you can request revisions before accepting. Unaccepted work is never charged.
