Opening an Ordinal account is free. Every department has one flat price per project — $199 to $399 — agreed before any work begins. Your payment is held in escrow and released only once you have read the deliverable and accepted it. No subscription, no seats, no hourly billing, and no AI usage costs passed on to you.

You are never billed per token, per search, or per hour. What you agree up front is what you pay.
Escrow and refunds
Payment is taken when you unlock the finished deliverable and stays in escrow for 72 hours. Within that window you can request revisions or raise an issue, which freezes the escrow until it is resolved. Final sign-off releases the funds immediately; if the window closes with no action, release happens automatically.
Why fixed pricing
AI throughput breaks the link between hours worked and value delivered, so billing by time makes no sense. You are buying a finished outcome with a dedicated quality manager accountable for it, and the price reflects the deliverable rather than the effort behind it.
