1 · Choose a department and brief it
Pick the Ordinal department built for the outcome you need, then describe the objective — not a task list, a result. Attach any briefs, data, or examples. Your material is confidential, used only to deliver your project, and never shared or used to train shared models.
2 · Fund escrow
The price is fixed before anything starts, so there are no hourly rates, no scope creep, and no surprise invoices. Payment is held in escrow by Stripe. Ordinal is not paid until you have seen the work and signed off on it.
3 · Specialists deliver under quality review
The department plans a plan of tasks and assigns each to a specialised AI worker. Every worker runs with the department charter, accumulated expertise from previous projects, the upstream context, and a reference standard for the output. An Ordinal supervisor reviews each draft, sends weak steps back for rework, and only then delivers.
4 · Review the proof of work, then sign off
You first see a watermarked proof of work — summary, contents, and a snippet — so you can confirm the deliverable exists. Unlocking gives you the full work. You then have a 72-hour warranty window to request revisions, including highlighting specific passages. Final sign-off (or the window closing) releases the escrowed funds.
What protects you
The price is agreed before work begins. Your funds sit in escrow and Ordinal is paid only on your sign-off. The deliverable is shown under watermark before you unlock it. Every task, draft, and revision is logged. Revisions during the 72-hour warranty are included in the price, and if something cannot be resolved the escrow stays frozen while the issue is reviewed.
Who is accountable for quality
Ordinal is. AI does the labour, but a dedicated quality manager at Ordinal reviews and signs off on every deliverable before it reaches you, and Ordinal stands behind the result for the duration of the warranty window. You never prompt a model, design a workflow, or chase a contractor.
